Hours of Supervision:

Holt Provides supervision between the hours of 7:25 am and 2:35 pm and during official school events and programs that occur before and after school.  If you are interested in after-school child care or other after-school enrichment opportunities, please see below.

YMCA After School Enrichment Program

What the YMCA has to offer you and your student:

• After-school care: grades K-5 (until 6 pm)
• Childcare for non-school and early release days
• State-certified, fun, and energetic staff
• Safe and secure environment
• Healthy snacks provided

Through a fee-based program, all Holt students have the opportunity to take part in after-school child care.  Kids arrive at our programs with energetic staff and fun activities. Crazy holidays, character development, movement, and healthy choices are the focuses of our school-age program.

Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestra

Beginning Strings – for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders!

Your child can learn to play the violin, viola, cello, or bass! Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestras (ESYO) offers classes right here at Holt Elementary after school.

• Wednesdays from 1:15-2:00 PM & Fridays from 2:30-3:15 PM in the music room.
• Classes begin September 29th
• Scholarships for program fees available.

Everyone is a beginner, and classes are taught by a professional at a relaxed pace. By the end of the school year, students can play many songs and will perform at least two concerts.

Garden Way Church: KidMax After School Program

Join us for a free, fun-filled after-school program exploring learning and growing in exciting ways! KidMax will begin on September 17 and end on May 27. We will meet every Wednesday on early release days from 1:10-5:45. We offer an extended Awana Kids Bible Club from 5:45-6:45 for a registration fee of $35 per year.
